This project involved an in-depth, arms-length inspection of six (6) conveyor belt truss systems in Boone County, West Virginia.
The truss spans ranged from 110’ to 140’ in length and crossed various coal haul roads. The structures were accessed utilizing a 60’ manlift and were inspected using climbing techniques in areas that were inaccessible by equipment.
The project included a detailed report, complete with condition sketches, load rating analysis, and maintenance recommendations.
