Working closely with Edward Tucker Architects, Inc. and Vision Design Group, we provided professional design services for the building site as well as the design of the structural framing and foundation system for a new treatment facility for the Huntington VA Hospital.
The two-story facility utilized a traditional post and beam structural framing system supported on masonry foundation walls and included a partial basement. The walls utilized metal stud framing with exterior sheathing with vinyl siding, and a stone exterior.
The site design included surveying, water service, and sanitary sewer collection system designs as well as parking layout for a restrictive site footprint.
Additional responsibilities included shop drawing review and construction administration.
