Triad Engineering contracted with Randolph Engineering to provide the structural design of a 915’ long cast-in-place retaining wall to increase the capacity of the existing landfill in Tyler County, WV. The wall has a maximum height of 18.5’ with a total square footage of 16,000 SF.
Constructability was a concern due to the proximity of the existing retaining wall to the new wall. Working closely with Triad Engineering, we developed a design that incorporated the existing wall and foundations into the new wall.
