The project included hydraulic analysis, culvert design, permitting, as well as construction administration and inspection for an urban storm water management project that was designed utilizing an enclosed system of inlets and pipe culverts.
The project consisted of a system of pipe culverts and concrete drop-inlets that were placed in and around various residential properties to collect stormwater run-off and convey the water to a natural outlet point. The project was undertaken due to persistent flooding concerns caused by undersized and collapsed pipes.
The project was funded through a grant from the Regional Intergovernmental Council and local resources.
Additional services included preliminary engineering studies, field surveying, mapping, permitting, construction stake-out, and construction inspection.
