The project involved the study, site design, and preparation of contract documents for an 80-bed, 42,000 square feet nursing home facility development in Cabell County, West Virginia.
Design responsibilities included unit layout, grading, interior roadway and driveway design, pavement design, as well as the design of the storm water system, including a detention facility.
Utility design included water and sanitary sewer design. The water line extension for this project involved close coordination with the City of Milton. As part of the water extension, the contractor constructed a major water upgrade for the city.
Additional design responsibilities included obtaining all permits, including N.P.D.E.S. permit, WV Health Department, and Cabell County Planning Commission permits, as well as a WVDOH Encroachment permit.
Surveying services included topographic mapping for design purposes, survey plat development, and construction stakeout.
