As part of their on-going effort to meet the needs of the community, the City of Hurricane contracted with Randolph Engineering to develop plans for a Splash Park within the current City Park.
Working closely with the equipment manufacturer we developed a 2400 SF Splash Play Park with multiple at-grade and above grade aquatic spray features. The play area was encompassed by a 2200 SF perimeter concrete walkway that connected the picnic area to the concession and restroom areas. Additionally, preliminary and final cost estimates, site plans including utility layout, restroom facilities, mechanical building and picnic shelters were included in the final design.
Additional responsibilities included topographic mapping services, preliminary and final cost estimates and project coordination.
